Please complete the contract and application below and then submit your $20 payment for a student parking permit through the link provided at after you submit your completed form. We will have a day prior to the first day school starts to pick up student hang tags and locate assigned parking spaces. Students with outstanding debts to WOHS cannot drive to school until their debts are cleared. ALL student drivers must have completed either Drive Smart through the Oconee County Sheriff's Department or Alive at 25 prior to being issued a parking permit, you will need the date you completed that course to complete this application.
Following this link is the ONLY method of obtaining a parking pass for students at West-Oak High School. Submitting student vehicle information to the SDOC Registration link DOES NOT secure your student parking.

PARENTSQUARE
The School District of Oconee County uses ParentSquare for district and school communication, via email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent listed as the primary contact spot in PowerSchool, our student information system, using the email address and phone number supplied during registration.
TO SIGN UP FOR PARENTSQUARE
Non-registered SDOC parents will receive an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare at the start of each school year. That email will include a link to activate your account. If you are a parent and Power School contains your contact details, you can use your email or phone number to set up your account without an invitation.
- Find the email from your school and click to get started, or:
- Go to parentsquare/signin (or install the ParentSquare app) and follow the prompts to sign up.
- Use Google single sign-on, your email, or your phone number to set up your account. Your email/phone number must match contact details in Power School for this to work!
- If your contact details aren’t recognized, contact your student's school to get them added. Please allow for up to 48 hours for your information to appear in ParentSquare before attempting to create an account.
Note: After you are added to ParentSquare by your school, you will receive school communications even if you have not registered your account. However, you will need to register your account in order to participate in two-way communications (messaged back and for with teachers) and to access any confidential student-specific documents or forms.
-
Power School for Parents should open on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 and allow parents and students to view student schedules.
Your child has their own Power School Portal log on, it is the same as their Chromebook sign-in. Your student can follow this link and view their schedule.
-
Once your child has viewed their schedule and finds an issue, follow this link and complete the form ONLY if a schedule change needs to be made. CHANGES WILL BE MADE ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS THIS YEAR

Most classes require standard paper, pencil, pen, notebook, and all classes require students to bring their Chromebook charged and ready for class. Our SC Tax Free Weekend will be after SDOC starts school this year, August 2nd- 4th.
-
Freshman Orientation Night will be Thursday, July 31st at 6:30 PM in our Auditorium. Students should write down their schedules from Power School or bring a screenshot on their phones. SDOC will participate in the CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) for all grades for the 2024-2025 school year. This program entitles every student to receive one free lunch and one free breakfast each day this school year. Any additional food will require payment by the student. Please see the MySchoolBucks information below for how to add funds to your student's account.
-
This link will allow you to preload your child's lunch account if they wish to purchase items that are not included in the free meal plan, and to sign-up for emails when their balance is getting low. You can also view your child's lunch and breakfast transactions as well as pay other school related fees.
